Call for entries: Picto Young Fashion Photography Prize

Founded 18 years ago, the 2016 Picto Young Fashion Photography Prize is open to young photographers internationally. This year the jury, meeting in November, is chaired by photographer Valérie Belin. It will honour three laureate photographers.

Created in 1998, the Picto Young Fashion Photography Prize aims to spotlight and bring to attention the work of a young fashion photographer.

Eligibility

First and foremost: be under 35, with no geographic restriction.
Submit a cohesive, representative selection of your work (black & white or colour prints, minimum format 18 × 24 cm, maximum 40 × 60 cm — at least 10 images, no more than 15 images per series).
You must submit a complete application file including:
1. A paper portfolio of the series or selection.
2. The application form
3. A CD or USB stick containing the portfolio images at low resolution + 2 high-resolution images + a biography / career path of the photographer (15 lines maximum) in Word format.

The application must be submitted to Sylvie Besnard by the deadline of Wednesday 2 November 2016 at 6 p.m. at Picto Bastille, 53 bis rue de la Roquette, 75011 Paris. A preselection of applications will take place on Thursday 10 November 2016; the list of preselected candidates will be published on www.picto.fr on Monday 14 November 2016.

The winner will be announced at Pan Piper, 2-4 impasse Lamier 75011 Paris — a venue so original and conducive to artistic encounters that we wanted to return to it in 2016.
