Operational guide for fighting Ebola

Why bring up the French Red Cross's operational guide for fighting Ebola on a blog dedicated to photography?
Because without photography, operational documents lose some of their meaning. From November 2014 to December 2015, we covered for the French Red Cross the efforts of the women and men, Guineans and expatriates alike, working to fight this epidemic. From Macenta to Forécariah, through Conakry, Nzérékoré and Gueckedou, we travelled across Guinea Conakry.

The French Red Cross's guide is illustrated with many of the images we produced during that period. Some belong to the exhibition "An autumn in Macenta," which shows the work of everyone involved. Most of them were also published on the blog "Ebola Chronicle." This blog was a valuable tool for informing the general public and the families of volunteers engaged in the fight against the epidemic. The operational guide for fighting Ebola can be downloaded here. The French Red Cross introduction page features a statement by the president of the French Red Cross, Prof. Jean-Jacques Eledjam. He reminds us in particular: "In 2014, the Ebola virus struck West Africa, causing a health, humanitarian and economic disaster of unprecedented magnitude, with an extremely heavy human toll."
