Leica officially unveils the M10

Rumours of a new Leica had been circulating for months. The date of 18 January had been announced. The veil is lifted: the M10 is official.
Slimmer and faster, the Leica M10 is the newest member of the M family! A little over 10 years after the first digital M appeared and 60 years after the birth of the M mount, the M10 is still very much a Leica: no USB port, no video mode — just a camera built for taking photographs.
M10 features and specifications
An ISO selection dial makes its appearance on the body. At the same time, the sensitivity range of the 24MP sensor is extended to 50,000 ISO, starting at 100 ISO. It's also the first Leica M with Wi-Fi and a dedicated iOS app. The Android app is in preparation. Unlike the Leica M-A, the M10 does have a rear screen and focus peaking on live-view to help with focusing. The M10 is available from 19 January in Leica stores.
