Niepcebook #07

NiepceBook is a photography magazine, showcasing photographers, portfolios and interviews.
Niepcebook #07
It has arrived in the letterboxes of those who pre-ordered it. A beautiful publication, like its predecessors, printed in a limited edition of 300 copies, all numbered. The magazine features full-page portfolios and is intended to be published every 4 months. In each issue, 10 photographers from different backgrounds share their work in a portfolio of 10 to 16 photographs. For each of them, a portrait in the form of an interview is produced, bringing the reader closer to the artist, their artistic approach and their techniques. For more than four years Corridor Éléphant has invited contemporary photographers, both young and established, to show their work online and through a print edition, thereby contributing to the sharing of their work.
Niepcebook #07 is an opportunity to revisit the work of the 10 photographers selected on the theme Territory(-ies), Equality(-ies).

I present my work on the displaced people of Ukraine, made in May 2016 around the city of Zaporizhzhia (in Ukrainian, Запоріжжя). A work that shows a reality too often left in the media shadows: that of hundreds of thousands of people who had to leave their homes to flee a muted war.
A few copies still available
This limited, numbered-edition magazine will not be reprinted. But a few copies remain at Corridor Éléphant's "Petite librairie". An excellent opportunity to support contemporary photography and to open yourself up to the sensibilities of the various photographers represented. Corridor Éléphant is a non-profit association under the 1901 French law. Niepcebook is printed on 130 gsm semi-matte coated paper. The cover is soft-bound, printed on 300 gsm paper with a matte finish.
