New concept, new campaign… That's how Photokina is announcing its new edition, which opens on 20 September in Cologne.

Photokina presents a global overview of the near-unlimited possibilities of digital imaging. The new concept aims to reach the image-enthusiast target groups brought to the fore by smartphones and tablets. The concept taps the full potential of the imaging sector and offers sustainable growth potential in imaging.

Photokina: a must-attend event

As the flagship international trade show for photo, video and digital imaging, the organisers present a new concept and a new advertising campaign. From now on, Photokina will keep developing into a content- and solution-oriented event under the slogan "Imaging unlimited."

A new layout, new technologies, new exhibitors: Photokina 2016 has many surprises in store for its visitors.

In 2016, as in previous editions, the image — as the end product of the photo and digital-imaging sector — remains at the heart of the show.

For example, in the Leica gallery in Hall 1, photography enthusiasts will be able to enjoy the fantastic exhibition "Masters of Photography," set up over nearly 2,000 m².
