PhotoStream SP 200 : a new Lowepro photo suitcase
When we talk about luggage in the photo we often think of bags: backpacks, shoulder strap, etc. but there are also, especially for professionals, the suitcases.
Photo luggage is legion, very hardened, like pelicase suitcases, including backpacks, shoulder bags or slings, these bags halfway between shoulder strap and backpacks. But suitcases are too often overlooked. Wrongly ! Lowepro offers a new photo suitcase, the Photostream SP 200. Separators, laptop storage, are of course available, but it is especially the presence of 4 wheels that is to be welcomed.

The RL 150 was offered at $ 240 (€ 210), the SP 200 is available at $ 299.95. Undoubtedly the wheeled suitcase is a wise choice when the terrain is not complicated, it allows not to get tired and to have easy access to all the equipment. On the other hand, for air travel, even if the suitcase has the dimensions required to travel in the cabin, the weight of the material makes it practically impossible to travel with it. And to travel in the hold, a hardened suitcase, pelicase type, is, in my opinion, essential.
