Sentinelles, they watch over Paris

Sentinelles, they watch over Paris — a book you don't know yet, and that you're going to love!
A reporter's work
Sandra is a professional photographer specialising in action photography. She has worked — and works regularly — with law enforcement and the armed forces. She brings a dual eye, both professional and sensitive, to the scenes she captures.
Today Sandra (Chenu Godefroy) has set off on a fine adventure — and mainly for us: a book, a beautiful book, and knowing Sandra, no doubt a very beautiful book. Its title: Sentinelles, ils veillent sur Paris.
To fund her project, Sandra is running a crowdfunding campaign on Kiss Kiss Bank Bank.
From Montmartre to the Eiffel Tower, from the Champs-Élysées to the Louvre, outside schools and Parisian shops, soldiers stand watch. They watch over Paris and patrol day and night to ensure the capital's safety. Since the launch of Operation Sentinelle, tens of thousands of anonymous soldiers have taken turns protecting the city and its inhabitants.
Sandra followed them for more than a year to give these unknown soldiers a face. The fundraising campaign is almost over and today stands at 94% of its €10,000 goal.
So now that you've discovered some photos from the book and been won over by their aesthetic, head to Sandra's campaign page and invest — invest to support this beautiful book, and invest to treat yourself to a beautiful book.
