The Photography Show 2016

When we talk about our British neighbours these days, it's often about the migrant issue and the Calais "Jungle" or the Six Nations tournament — but that isn't the only thing happening across the Channel. In fact, in a few days' time — on Saturday 19 March, to be exact — the 2016 edition of Birmingham's Photography Show opens.

One more trade show, you might say — probably so. But it's a good thing to open up a bit to what's happening in the land of , or !

The Photography Show is a trade show open to both professionals and amateurs, welcoming 200 exhibitors — the big names, such as Adobe, Canon, Nikon or Leica, as well as manufacturers and software publishers such as Atomos, Lensbaby or Lomography. The full list is available online.

The show also offers an impressive list of talks, in the language of Shakespeare. The list of conferences and workshops is also available on the event's website.
