Nikon F6: the last analog camera withdrawn from sale

Two years after Canon, it’s Nikon’s turn to stop marketing film cameras. Last month, quietly, Nikon announced the end of the sale of the Nikon F6.

Marketed since 2004 and intended for professional customers wishing to work in film, the Nikon F6 thus closes the era of film of the Japanese juggernaut.

Nikon is thus following in the footsteps of Canon, which had stopped the marketing of the magnificent EOS 1V in 2018. Now to find a Nikon F6 or a Canon EOS 1V, it will be necessary to turn to the second-hand market.
