Since December 17, 2020, one of my photos has been exhibited on the railings of the Quai d’Orsay (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) in Paris. The exhibition is entitled “Femmes humanitaires” (Humanitarian women).
Presented on the occasion of the 2020 national humanitarian conference and inaugurated on December 17, 2020 by Jean-Yves Le Drian, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, this exhibition highlights the commitment of women in humanitarian action. Often beneficiaries of programs implemented in many countries, women are also major players in humanitarian aid. Logisticians, health professionals, mediators, trainers, project or program managers, deminers …
Faced with an emergency, invested for short or long term missions, sometimes risking their lives, they work alongside the most vulnerable on the planet.
One of my photos is part of the exhibition. Produced in 2014 for the French Red Cross during the Ebola epidemic, it shows the collaboration between two women before entering the high-risk area of the Ebola Treatment Center (CTE) of Macenta.

In all, 21 photos are exhibited on the railings of the Quai d’Orsay, on the Seine side. They highlight the work of women of different nationalities around the world and on behalf of different organizations.
The presentation of the exhibition, downloadable here, allows you to discover these different photos, while staying at home!
