In a largely dominated by profit society, individualism, competition and consumerism without limits, the Emmaus Movement demonstrates once again this year, that an alternative to any economic is possible by developing an inclusive economic model based on recovery and reuse of objects from the donation. A pioneer of sustainable development for over 60 years, Emmaus fight against all forms of exclusion and invent a model more just and united society while providing appropriate and innovative responses to situations of exclusion and poverty. It allows, indeed, to welcome and give a second chance to people in remote or very precarious employment by giving a second life to objects. Benefits Fair will allow this year to support a large number of projects throughout the world. For this new edition, the show had invested over 22 000m² in Hall 1 of the Porte de Versailles. At the opening, many visitors were in hurry in the aisles in search of rare objects, good deals and bargains. But the success of the Emmaus Show, also takes its atmosphere more than festive and entertainment. To note, the popularity of the workshops "Do It Yourself" (DIY) and to stand and object customization lively street by 28 renowned artists.
