The French Speleo Rescue (SSF) is an organization specialized in underground rescue. These volunteers are involved, in cooperation with state services, to help people in danger underground– lost, hurt, tired or stuck. April 25, 2013, the SSF Alsace organized its « Barnum » in the basement of the First World War, the Hartmannswillerkopf (Le Vieil Armand).
