Initiated by the presidential majority, the so-called Global Security bill is stirring up contestation in France. While the text was adopted on first reading at the assembly on November 24, 2020, many demonstrations are organized across France for the second week. In Lyon, the demonstrators met in front of the town hall, Place des Terreaux before taking the road to the Guillotière district. Clashes with the police took place near the Prefecture.
