The French Red Cross has been working with the Haitian Red Cross for many years. When the devastating earthquake hits the capital Port-au-Prince and its surroundings, Jan. 5, 2010, the French Red Cross strengthened its presence.

The activities of the French Red Cross continues in the Artibonite region but also in the camp of Accra and in Delmas districts, just outside Port-au-Prince.
